This is a place where food becomes art. We reserved a table since it was our anniversary and we didn’t mind indulging. We expected a really fancy joint, but it turned out to be a warm bungalow that could really be someone’s house. Of course we’d heard praise for chef Manish Mehrotra’s fusion food, and we weren’t let down. The beetroot peanut tikkis were quite tasty and the pav bhaji with kafir lime flavoured pavs was phenomenal. I didn’t care much for the kathal rolls in potato upma gravy simply because it was too tame. The food was flavourful, not super spicy… which is a tough balance to achieve with Indian spices.
