It’s three years since I visited Delhi Delice so was happy to find it still flourishing on a recent visit.
It is a family-owned restaurant run by the couple Shahnawaz and Dominique – chef Shahnawaz has previously worked in restaurants around the world including the famous Bukhara restaurant in the Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi before meeting Dominique and settling down in the South of France..
They say, ‘Delhi Delice offers the best of Delhi in the South of France. The menu has been carefully selected to cater to different palates and preferences and reflects the diversity of Delhi. We celebrate the food of Delhi’.
I chose this venue for an interview with a local writer who also loves Indian food and he was very pleased with his lunch. We both had the 13.50€ weekday lunch menu which consists of an entrée and main course, or main course and dessert.
